1. Rectangle

आयताला चार कडा आहेत, त्यांनाच बाजू म्हणतात. ज्या बिंदू मध्ये दोन बाजू एकत्र येतात त्या बिंदूला शिरोबिंदू म्हणतात.

      Rectangle has four edges that is four sides.the point where two sides meet together is called vertex.

 In the figure alongside, A,B,C,and D are the vertices.

या आकृतीमध्ये A,B,C and D हे चार शिरोबिंदू आहेत.

Here the sides AB,BC ,CD and AD are the sides of rectangle.

   The opposite sides of the rectangle are of equal length.all the angles of rectangle are right angles. A rectangle is also called a right angled quadrilateral.

 आयताच्या विरोधी बाजू समान लांबीच्या असतात . आयताचे सर्व कोण काटकोन असतात म्हणून आयता ला काटकोन चौकोन असेही ही म्हणतात.

Square. चौरस.-

Square ला चार शिरोबिंदू आणि चार बाजू आहेत. या आकृती मध्ये P,M,R, आणि S हे चार शिरोबिंदू आहेत.

Square चे सर्व कोण काटकोन आहेत आणि सर्व बाजू समान लांबीच्या आहेत.

  

A square has four vertex and four sides. In the figure alongside P,M,R and S hard vertices off the square.

  All the sides of square are equal length and all its angles are right angles.

Triangle त्रिकोण -

त्रिकोणाला तीन शिरोबिंदू आणि तीन बाजू आहेत.Y,R,L हे तीन शिरोबिंदू आहेत.

YL या तीन बाजू आहेत. याला तीन कोन आहेत.

A triangle has 3 vertices and 3 sides.Y, R,and L are the vertices of triangle.YR, RL and YL are three sides of triangle. A triangle has three angles.
